Sewing machine….. needle wont pull the thread from the bobin…..?
I have a singer sewing machine thats about 5 years old. Everything is Threaded right but the needle wont pull the thread off of the bobin. I am very new to this whole sewing thing so details would be great!!
I have tryed going to the Singer website for an online manual but the site cant find the manual for the machine that I have. I'M LOST!!! Thanks!

I have an ancient Singer from the 30′s and the needle
threads from right to left. …. I know yours is newer, but
it doesn’t hurt to try, Another thing is to check and make
sure you have the right needle for the machine, if its
too short, it won’t get the thread under the bobbin
thread to pick it up. If you can, lift your machine up so that
you can see under the sewing plate (I have an old Morse
that is hinged at the back of the case, so I can lift it up
and then hand turn the wheel so I can see just what the
needle and bobbin are doing, that may give you a hint-
you can see if the boobin is properly seated in its case,
if the needle is long enough to reach below the bobbin
thread and if there is something breaking the thread as
you turn the wheel) If you still can’t figure out what is
wrong, take it in to a sewing machine repair place and
they should be able to solve your problem. If you use
your machine a lot, it should go in every year or so for
a tune up anyway.
Double check the tension on the thread, it might be too tight for it to pull it. I can’t remember the number it should be on, sorry. I think it’s like a 3 or a 5.
Have you tried a new needle in your machine?
Sometimes a needle will get slightly bent and will miss picking up the bobbin thread. It doesn’t take much!
